Our Eco-Friendly clients have demanded we follow their example when building show stands and displays for them. We have achieved this by investigating new lighter materials, recycled materials, lead free paints and low energy lighting systems. We are now offering more and more clients the benefits associated with reducing our carbon footprint.

Lead-Free Paints

No product used by The JKB Group contains levels of lead above the SAPMA (South African Paint Manufacturers Association) voluntary limits of 0.01%. Paints outside this limit are generally safe for use, but are excluded from use on articles that could be chewed by children.Trace elements of lead can be found in virtually everything because of the amounts of lead in the atmosphere from petrol etc. Since we do not add lead to any of the paint we use, it is completely safe for consumer use.

Recycled Materials

Most of the modern materials in use today are manufactured from recycled materials. Where feasible, we reuse wall panels and other items over and over again. The JKB Group perfers to manufacture re-useable show stands and other items. This gives our clients extra value for their money every time we re-erect an existing stand.

Energy Saving Lighting

We use high quality LED lights to help light up you show stand. Apart from the huge saving in electricity, and assisting in reducing power consumption, energy saving lights also contibute to a healthier and cleaner environment. LED Energy Saving Lights are responsible for huge savings in Carbon Dioxide emissions.

Lighter Materials

We produce our wall panels in lightweight materials for Fast Track Construction. They are easily assembled, easy to handle and easy to dis-assemble. Because they are light and in modular form they are easier to transport and much more material can be accommodated in our vehicles. This all adds up to cheaper transport cost and faster turn around times.
